RFP for Broadband Feasibility in Clinton County

The Clinton County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals to conduct a comprehensive Broadband Feasibility Study for Clinton County, Ohio. The purpose of this study is to develop short-term and long-term strategies for broadband expansion throughout the county. The pandemic has highlighted the historic need for reliable, affordable high-speed broadband service, particularly for remote learning, telework, telehealth, and e-commerce.

At the OAA’s 2021 Annual Conference, held virtually this week, select awards were presented and new board members were welcomed as well.

The JobsOhio Inclusion Grant Supports Distressed Communities and Underserved Populations

JobsOhio is prioritizing efforts to empower Ohio businesses with the resources they need to reach their potential. Since the start of 2020, we have worked on an inclusion strategy focused on investing in and driving job creation in distressed areas across Ohio – defined as those that have not recovered from the 2008 recession. JobsOhio also provides the capital needed to grow businesses in these communities and those owned by underserved populations.
